Aspects of Controlled Community in Lois Lowry\'s The Giver

The Giver, create verbally by Lois Lowry (1993), is a bracing about a boy called Jonas and how he responds to his residential di harshs lack of pickax and individuality. The newfangled explores Jonas encounter with memories of the past, and how he feels towards the lack of exemption at bottom his highly controlled golf club. At the start of the novel Jonas is as unmindful as anyone else about the way he is living. He has adult up with strict rules and discipline, and has legitimate this way of life because he doesnt know any otherwise type of existence. But as he receives the Givers memories, he learns the legality about his community, that it is hypocrisy and that the people have sacrificed their individuality and freedom to live as robots.
